The Location

The Indian Ocean Lodge is situated right along the beach of Grand Anse, just on the outskirts of the tiny village by the same name. Grand Anse is one of the longest beaches on the island, with shallow flats that extend far out to the reef, and water barely lapping along the shore. This makes it ideal for family activities or simply strolling up and down the coastline.

The hotel is just a 5-minute drive from the Praslin airport, 15 minutes from the Baie Ste Anne Jetty, about 20 minutes from Cote D’Or beach (a hotspot for diving and island excursions), and 35 minutes away from the world famous beach of Anse Lazio.

GETTING THERE

Flights are available several times daily from the main island, Mahé, through the Air Seychelles Domestic Services.
It is recommended that you book your domestic flight connection when you book your international flight into the Seychelles.

The Cat Cocos ferry service operates daily trips between Mahe and Praslin. The 44km cruise is a scenic ride with several islands, and perhaps some dolphins, to see along the way. Schedules can vary, so it is advisable to check ferry times in advance.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We stayed at the Indian Ocean lodge for 5 nights. It’s a lovely hotel set right on the beach front. The reception and communal areas are decorated very nicely and we found all the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful.
The rooms were comfortable and all face towards the pool/ beach. We were located in one of the upper rooms which I would definitely recommend. All rooms include an Nespresso coffee machine which is a nice feature but as mentioned in other reviews, you are limited to only x4 pods. It would be nice if these were replenished throughout your stay.
Food at the hotel was good and the dinner offering would change between a set menu and a buffet each night.
There’s also a number of shops and places to eat out within walking distance from the hotel if you fancy a different option.
We also hired a car during our stay and the hotel had ample parking onsite.
The reception staff also helped us with booking a day trip to Curiese island which was a fantastic experience.thank you for having us

I was extremely impressed about the hotel teams always smiling which makes you feel comfortable n very helpful,
The room r very clean, the food is excellent top quality.
I will Deffinetly recommend this hotel

Mais le plus c'est l'accueil de tout le personnel : souriant serviable et toujours un petit mot gentil ( mention spéciale pour la cheffe du restaurant ❤️).
